Acupuncture, Turmeric May Help Ease Arthritis
July 11th, 2007In one of the largest studies of its kind, scientists demonstrated that acupuncture was a viable therapeutic option for people suffering from osteoarthritis, when performed by a physician. As for turmeric (or rather an extract of the root), we’ll have to wait a while before anything is available in therapeutic form. The amount of the extract in commonly available turmeric is extremely low and it is still uncertain whether the extract is safe and efficacious.
